Facts: The ferries sailing on Storebaelt between Funen and Zealand has been the most important Danish ferry connection. It has been established since there where people on the two islands. Now there's a bridge - The Great Belt Bridge. It's actually two bridges and a tunnel. If you go by train from Zealand you first travel through the tunnel to Sprogo Island located in the mettle of the Great Belt and the by a low bridge to Funen. If you go by car you first drive over a high bridge to Sprogo Island and the by the same low bridge as the train to Funen. Confused - if you think it sounds like a political compromise you're 100% right.
